1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading and using DeptoFlow, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the application.

2. Description of Service

DeptoFlow is a personal finance management tool that allows users to track expenses, manage budgets, log borrowing and lending transactions (including optional contact selection), automatically process transaction SMS locally (if enabled by the user), and split bills locally on their devices. The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

3. Data Responsibility & Automated Features

User understands that financial records, SMS-parsed entries, and associated contact details are stored and processed locally on their device. DeptoFlow is not responsible for data loss due to device failure, uninstallation, or lack of backups.

If you choose to enable the optional SMS income and expense tracking feature, parsing is performed locally on your device. While DeptoFlow aims to provide accurate parsing of financial SMS messages, automated detection may occasionally misinterpret details. You remain solely responsible for reviewing and verifying all auto-detected entries.

If you choose to enable backups to your personal Google Drive, you are solely responsible for securing your Google account and credentials. DeptoFlow has no access to your Google Drive and cannot retrieve or restore backups on your behalf.

4. Permissions & User Control

Certain features (such as SMS transaction processing or contact selection) require optional device permissions. Permission is requested only when you choose to turn on the feature in the app. You maintain full control to enable, disable, or revoke permissions and features at any time via the application settings or your device's system settings.

5. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the app for any illegal purposes or to violate any laws in your jurisdiction. You may not attempt to reverse engineer or hack the application.
